If you have not gone to see The Blind Side yet, go see it. Thanks to our friend Rommel who watched the kids for us, Erik and I had the opportunity to get out for a date yesterday and we went to see this heart warming, inspiring movie. We came away from it with tears in our eyes and renewed passion. There are many passions this movie could stir up in a person--passion for racial reconciliation, for family, for God, for helping others realize their potential, for teaching, or even for football!But the passion that was stirred in me was a desire to break out of my comfortable little world and make a difference in the lives of lonely, hurting children. I was inspired by this true story of a boy who found a home. And I have begun praying for the little one(s) God will bring into our home.
Hold on, dear one...your family is praying for you and trusting that God will bring you home in His timing.
