Camping

We went on an overnight camping trip over Labor Day weekend. One of Erik's friends from seminary invited us to go with her family and a group from their church. They are all wonderful people and we had fun, but we were glad it was just overnight! I don't think we could have handled another night of sleeping in the COLD on deflating air mattresses with a one year old! We were definitely not adequately prepared!

As you'll see at the bottom of this post, Joel took a tumble out of our friends' camper a the end of the trip. Ouch! He's mostly healed up now.

Cute bundled baby looking for sticks and rocks.

Our accommodations

Playing in the grass with Grandma.

Isaac riding a four wheeler with Dad.

Jackson riding with Dad.

Before

After. Poor guy! The fact that he was still smiling makes me love this boy even more.
