Respite
Man, I am dreadfully behind on blogging. This spring has been way too busy. That crazy busy schedule (coupled with a lot of gross sickness in the last 3 weeks) has left me feeling as if I might go insane. Just when I thought everyone was well, Isaac got sick again last night. But today there was much needed respite. Not in the form of sleep (only got about 5 hours of that) or peace and quiet (not often much of that around here), but in the form of worship. Beautiful, fulfilling, awe-inspiring worship. As part of the choir, I get to look out on hundreds of people worshipping God with their voices, their hands, and their hearts. I can't think of a better way to spend a Sunday morning (even if it means getting up at what feels like 4:45 am!). I'm thankful for our worship leader who consistently turns my heart to God and for a vibrant, praise-filled body of believers. There's nothing like getting my eyes off of me and onto Him to put everything into perspective. Now, back to sanitizing the nooks and crannies of my house...

I feel you! We have been busy giving each other the stomach flu since we've returned from Colorado. I am feeling SO behind on life rightnow. Here's to healthier days ahead!
